QAnon Is Like a Game—a Most Dangerous Game
QAnon is one of the biggest conspiracy theories in America right now, and one with a massive following. Millions of Americans now breathlessly speak of the "coming storm" when Donald Trump will rise up and imprison pedophile Democrats, and they avidly trade predictions about when it'll happen. What's the allure? There are lots of explanations: It's because QAnon is apocalyptic, so it ropes in evangelicals. It's because it plugs into pre-existing conspiracy theories (like the Clinton child-sex-ring of Pizzagate).
